How do I add or remove players?
Open Players from the home screen. Add up to 16 friends, tap someone to change their name or colour, swipe left to delete them, and touch and hold to reorder. When a new group is playing, clear the whole list in one go.
Someone isn't playing tonight
Tap their circle in Players, or on a game's intro sheet, to sit them out. They stay saved for next time, and only tonight's players are dealt in.
How do I switch between English and Georgian?
Settings → Language. The app and every card change at once, with no restart.
Can I turn off vibration?
Yes: Settings → Vibration.
Is there a light mode?
Joy is dark by default. Choose System, Light or Dark in Settings → Theme.
We keep seeing the same cards
Every deck deals the cards your group hasn't seen first and only starts over once you've seen all of it. If you play a lot, try another game or another intensity: each one is a deck of its own.
Some cards are too much for our group
Pick Light on a game's intro sheet. Bold gets personal, with secrets, flirting and nights out; Light is for any company. Each game remembers which one you picked last.
What happens to my players if I delete the app?
They go with it: everything Joy keeps lives on the phone. A phone backup can bring them back.
