Eight games. One phone.
Everything for a great night with friends. No accounts, nothing to set up.
For iPhone and Android, in English and Georgian
How a night goes
Three steps.
Then just play.
-
01
Add your friends
Type a name and Joy gives them a colour of their own. Everyone stays saved, and a tap sits someone out for the night.
-
02
Pick a game
Flick through the deck, choose how long and how bold, and start. Or let Joy surprise you.
-
03
Pass the phone around
Joy says whose turn it is, deals the card, keeps the score, and crowns a winner at the end.
The games
What are we playing?
Eight games, each on a card of its own with an illustration that moves. Turn a card over to see how it plays.
The cards
Pick a deck.
Read it out loud.
About 3,000 cards, written separately in English and Georgian rather than translated. Every deck remembers what it has dealt, so the next night starts with cards nobody has seen.
Tap or swipe for the next one
Game over
Every winner
gets a title.
Pick how long to play before you start, and a hairline at the top shows how far there is to go. At the end, the winner's card is dealt and turned over, then come the final standings and Play again.
Just the room
What Joy doesn't need
- No account.
- No sign-in.
- No ads.
- No internet.
Just friends, and one phone
Nothing leaves the phone
Names, colours and settings are kept on the device and nowhere else. Joy has no server to send them to.
Plays anywhere
In the mountains, on a plane, in a basement with no signal. Every card is already on the phone.
Nobody watching
No analytics, no ad SDKs, no trackers. The only people watching the game are the ones playing it.
Nothing to allow
Joy never asks for your contacts, location, camera or notifications. It has no use for them.
How many people can play?
Do we need an internet connection?
Will we see the same cards again?
Is Joy in Georgian?
Light or Bold?
How long does a game take?
iPhone or Android?
Let's play.
Joy is on the App Store, and coming soon to Google Play. Bring the friends; the games are on us.
